Racette students showcase musical and artistic talents

About 200 students played together during this year's Racette Jr. High School band concert.

ST. PAUL - About 200 students from Racette Jr. High School filled chairs in the school's gymnasium on June 8 for the school's annual spring concert and fine art showcase.

Grade 6 to 9 students from the school's band program performed a variety of popular songs during the evening event and many dressed the part, opting to wear 80s inspired outfits.

The spring concert was the first time ever that Grade 6 students performed alongside the Grade 7 to 9 students.

The night also included a barbecue and art showcase where student artwork was on display.
