RCMP investigate alleged bear spray incident

ST. PAUL -  RCMP found a woman in "extreme discomfort" when they responded to a panic alarm sounded at the 7-11 outlet in downtown St. Paul on June 27.

RCMP arrived on scene at about 4 p.m. where a woman was reported to have been "assaulted and bear sprayed by several unknown people," according to an RCMP media release.

"The victim and suspects are believed to be known by one another. The incident is still under investigation."

No other information has been released at this time.
