Saddle Lake Powwow a place of healing, celebration

This year's Saddle Lake Cree Nation Powwow brought people together from June 23 to 25.

SADDLE LAKE - Hundreds of dancers entered the Saddle Lake powwow arbour on Friday night for the first grand entry of the weekend, June 23.

The annual powwow took place over three days, wrapping up on Sunday afternoon. Dancers, drummers, singers, and many others came together to create a space where culture was celebrated and community healing was a focus.
