ST. PAUL - The Royal Canadian legion St. Paul Branch 100 hosted the annual Remembrance Day ceremony on Nov. 11, welcoming a full house to the St. Paul Rec. Centre.

Following the March on the Colour Party that passed by the cenotaph located along 53rd Street, the ceremony moved indoors where Annalise Morton sang O Canada. Opening remarks were also offered by Legion President Duane Fleming, MLA Scott Cyr, and Town of St. Paul Mayor Maureen Miller.

The Last Post was performed by Jeff Gaye, with two minutes of silence observed after. The program then continued, and following the laying of the wreaths ceremony and a performance of Amazing Grace, guest speaker Lieutenant-General (retired) Paul Wynnyk spoke to the large crowd.

A closing ceremony wrapped up the morning event, with lunch served after.
