ST. PAUL - A St. Paul residence was searched by police for the second time since February.
On May 28, a search warrant was executed at the residence "in regards to a complaint of stolen property," according to RCMP.
"This is the second search warrant completed at this location since February and is the result of a long-standing investigation into possession of property obtained by crime," according to police.
RCMP members attended the residence and were able to find and seize "an unregistered firearm, multiple knives, a number of prescription pills, and drug paraphernalia."
Based on additional findings, one man was arrested by police. Two people in the residence were on warrant and were also arrested, according to RCMP.
Lawrence Joseph Desjarlais, 46, a resident of St. Paul, was charged with possession of property obtained by crime, possession for the purpose of trafficking, unauthorized possession of a prohibited weapon, resists/obstructs peace officer.
Desjarlais is scheduled to be in court in St. Paul on June 19.
Samara Maria Jackson, 22, a resident of Saddle Lake, was arrested on outstanding warrants and additionally charged with identity fraud and resists/obstructs peace officer. Jackson has a court date of June 5.
Martin Spiegelberg, 55, a resident of Fort McMurray, was arrested on outstanding warrants, and is not facing any additional charges. He was remanded into custody following his hearing, according to RCMP.
