VILNA - Three cases of COVID-19 have been connected to Vilna School in the past week.
On Feb. 26, Aspen View Public School confirmed it had been notified that a third positive case of COVID-19 was diagnosed in an individual from Vilna School. Other cases were confirmed on Monday and Thursday of this week.
Eight students and three staff from the school have been directed to stay home, following the most recent positive case.
Parents and guardians are being reminded to monitor children for symptoms and complete the Alberta Health checklist every day. The school division will continue to provide information as it becomes available.
