ST. PAUL – The Town of St. Paul residents will see increased water and sewer bills as Town of St. Paul passed the final reading of its 2025 water and sewer rate bylaw on Aug. 11.
The water rate will increase from $1.31 to $1.37 per cubic metre.
Monthly water service charges also increased. A 5/8-inch meter will cost $17.91, up from $17; 1-inch went up to $28.65, from $27.15; one-and-a-half-inch meter went to $42.98 from $40.72; and 2-inch was increased to $57.31 from $54.30, per month.
Costs for 3-inch and 4-inch meters have also been added, with a 3-inch meter costing an $85.95 fixed water service charge; and a 4-inch meter costing $114.61, per month.
The sewer rate increased to $1.01 from $1.00, while the monthly fixed sewer service charge increased from $36.10 to $36.77.
The water and sewer capital replacement contribution fee, which was introduced last year, remains at $7, but will increase to $10 in 2026.
No discussions took place.
Changes are expected to begin on Oct. 1.
