Vehicle rams into Tim Hortons

A vehicle that rammed into the front of the Tim Hortons restaurant on Oct. 30 caused major damage to the building, according to St. Paul RCMP. The vehicle collision took place shortly after noon last Wednesday.

A vehicle that rammed into the front of the Tim Hortons restaurant on Oct. 30 caused major damage to the building, according to St. Paul RCMP.

The vehicle collision took place shortly after noon last Wednesday. According to RCMP, a vehicle was attempting to park on the east side of the building, when it accidently rammed into the restaurant.

An 80-year-old male and an 85-year-old female had been sitting on the other side of the wall when the vehicle hit the building. They were taken to hospital with minor injuries.

The driver of the vehicle, a 73-year-old female, was also taken to hospital for medical treatment and was issued a violation ticket for driving at an unreasonable speed, according to the press release.
