BONNYVILLE - A stretch of highway located south of LaCorey has reopened to traffic following a collision that took place at about 1 a.m. on Sunday.

The incident involved a tanker rollover that released crude oil onto the highway, which resulted in environmental clean-up.

At about 6 p.m. on Monday (Dec. 9), the highway was reopened.

Roads across the Lakeland had been in snow covered and icy conditions on Sunday as a winter storm that involved freezing rain moved through the region late Saturday night.
