BONNYVILLE – A road closure that went into effect north of La Corey on the evening of May 2, has been attributed to a two-vehicle collision.
At 6 p.m. on Tuesday evening, the Bonnyville RCMP were dispatched to a motor vehicle collision on Range Road 461 A near the Hamlet of La Corey, confirmed Staff Sgt. Sarah Parke, with Bonnyville RCMP detachment.
A total of four occupants from two vehicles sustained minor injuries and were transported to the Cold Lake hospital.
“An RCMP Collision Analyst attended the scene, and the road was closed briefly while they conducted their analysis,” she stated.
Bonnyville RCMP continue to investigate the collision and Traffic Safety Act charges are pending against one of the drivers involved.
No further details were provided by police.
