BONNYVILLE – The list of vehicles stolen from the Bonnyville area continues to grow. Bonnyville RCMP lists four vehicles and a snowmobile that have been reported stolen from April 6 to 14.
Between April 4-11, a grey and rusty 2007 GMC Sierra truck bearing Alberta licence plate CNM 6251 was stolen from the parking lot at the Bonnyville Airport. RCMP state other vehicles in the parking lot at the time were allegedly damaged as well.
At some point between April 11 and 12, a white 2019 Kia Sorento bearing Alberta licence plate CMC 8808 was stolen from a residence in the area of 39 Street and 40 Avenue. The stolen Kia SUV has a distinguishable black spoiler on the front, note police.
Bonnyville RCMP also responded to the theft of a 1949 grey vintage Willys Jeep. It is believed that unknown culprit(s) broke into an outbuilding on a property on Range Road 463 near Township Road 613 and stole the vehicle by pushing the Jeep onto a trailer, sometime between April 11-13.
Police received another report of a stolen vehicle on April 13. Sometime between 7 and 8 a.m., a dark green 1998 Honda Civic with Alberta licence plate GZA 534 was stolen from a residence on Range Road 481 near Township Road 614.
Anyone with information on any of these thefts, those who are responsible, or the whereabout of any of the stolen vehicles are urged to contact the Bonnyville RCMP.
RCMP are also continuing to investigate the theft of a green 2011 Arctic Cat 800 snowmobile that was stolen from a rural property on Township Road 604A near Range Road 465. It is believed the snowmobile was stolen between March 31 and April 6.
