Woman charged for mischief, arson and uttering threats

A woman is facing a string of charges after allegedly causing damaging to a Bonnyville hotel two evenings in a row, as well as uttering threats and lighting a building on fire.
Okotoks RCMP have charged three youths with distributing intimate images of females in the community.

BONNYVILLE – A woman is facing several charges after allegedly causing mischief at a Bonnyville hotel two evenings in a row. 

Bonnyville RCMP were called to attend a hotel on 50th Ave on March 26.   

A female suspect who had allegedly attempted to light the building on fire the night before, returned to the hotel and was reported to have smashed a camera “and threatened to burn the hotel again,” states an RCMP media release. 

RCMP located the 37-year-old woman, arrested her and brought her before a Justice of the Peace for a Bail Hearing. 

Terri Lynn Martial is charged with arson – disregard for human life, uttering threats against a person, uttering threats against property and two counts of mischief under $5,000. She was remanded in custody and is set to appear in court April 19.
