This fall is going to be a busy one for the Boys and Girls Club of Bonnyville. According to Patti Cowden, executive director of the local club, not only are they expanding their programming, they’re also opening it up to even younger kids.

Get ready for another festival full of pyrogies. The 27th annual Glendon Pyrogy Festival is Sept. 1, at Pyrogy Park from 1 p.m to 4 p.m. Mayor Laura Papirny said there’s going to be some new events happening this year.

Bonnyville RCMP have arrested a 29-year-old man following a residential search warrant. On Aug. 12, local RCMP conducted a search warrant on a Kehewin residence, where they located drugs, weapons, ammo, and stolen documents.

Take a tour though history at the Bonnyville Museum. Two new exhibits at the local museum put the focus on the local impact of the Canadian National Railway (CNR) and Alberta’s early settlers.
