Two females took the bait after stealing an RCMP bait vehicle earlier this month.

A local student is off to a good start in her career in the world of interior design. Mandy Davediuk is a graduate of the Lakeland College interior design two-year program, and already she is leaving her mark in the industry.

Police are searching for a 28-year-old Bonnyville woman in relation to a bear mace incident. On Aug. 17 around 7 p.m., Bonnyville RCMP received a call from a female victim, claiming another female pointed and sprayed bear mace at her on 50 Ave.

There was a time when Minerva’s future was unclear, but now she has found her rightful place. Brought in as a stray to the Bonnyville and District SPCA on July 2, Minerva was distant, showed aggression towards food, and wasn’t a fan of dogs or cats.
