There won’t be any changes to Cold Lake’s fishing regulations any time soon, after a fisheries biologist confirmed the population of lake trout, walleye, and pike are remaining steady.

The man responsible for banging on a rural resident’s door in the middle of the night has pled guilty in court. On Tuesday, June 26, Lowell Thomas Badger pled guilty to mischief and possession of methamphetamine in relation to the June 11 incident.
