The 4-H district calf weigh-in was held at the Western Pride Auction Market Sunday. 4-H Beef clubs from Bonnyville and Ardmore, as well as the Beaver Club, took part in the weigh-in.

At approximately 11:45 p.m. on Wednesday a CF-18 Hornet fighter jet crashed in a field around 13 km northwest of 4 Wing at CFB Cold Lake. The pilot from 409 Tactical Squadron successfully ejected from the aircraft.

Human remains believed to be Ella's

Bonnyville RCMP found human remains in Kehewin Nov. 15 that they believe to be those of Mary (Ella) Corbiere, the 76-year-old missing homeless woman, and have charged an Elk Point man with second degree murder, according to RCMP.
