The MD of Bonnyville, along with a private consulting firm, invited the public to voice their suggestions for an upcoming Land Use Bylaw review.

Bonnyville officials packed the local Mcdonalds on May 8 to pitch in for McHappy day and raise funds to support families with sick children.

The Fort Kent graveyard is in need of some tidying up and resident Caroline Biddle is hoping to encourage people, especially those with loved ones buried there, to lend a hand in keeping it shipshape over the next few months.

“The Bonnyville RCMP continues to fulfill its mandate to enforce property crime offences which, often times, uncover other serious offences, such as, in this case, the discovery of 21 firearms and $40,000 worth of cocaine and methamphetamine,” said Staff Sgt. Sarah Parker.

A search warrant executed by Bonnyville RCMP in Kehewin resulted in the seizure of drugs, guns and the recovery of stolen property.

On May 4, the Bonnyville Municipal Library held a free community event to celebrate Free Comic Book Day.

Bonnyville RCMP seized a firearm, brass knuckles and cocaine following a traffic stop near Kehewin on April 24.

On May 4 and 5, the Tangled Threads Quilt Guild held a quilt show at the Bonnyville Seniors Centre McGregor Hall.
