COLD LAKE - On Jan. 1, Cold Lake resident Marty Belisle took down his annual Christmas display - marking the end of an era.

On Friday, Belisle will be handing over all his musical displays to La Loche, a small Indigenous community in Northern Saskatchewan. They will be using the large collection of holiday decorations in their community.

Some of the static displays are being divided up among his daughters and quite a few people in Cold Lake. Belisle stated he had a long list of people who were interested in some of the pieces that he has used to decorate his home extensively over the years.
