The Little Free Library fridge is making its way across northern Alberta to many of the 50 Northern Lights Libraries.

A newly formed Regional Sports Tourism Committee, which includes representatives from the MD of Bonnyville, City of Cold Lake, Village of Glendon and Town of Bonnyville, is finding its legs and will begin looking towards hosting large-scale sporting events in the near future.

Along with hosting the Arts Travelling Exhibition Program, the Cold Lake Library also received a new circulating cake pan and cookie cutter collection recently.

The 2023 Cold Lake Outreach Graduation took place June 23, at the Heritage Hall in Cold Lake.

Police continue to investigate a two-vehicle collision that occurred on June 28, after a vehicle allegedly turned left on a red light from 69th Avenue in Cold Lake onto Highway 28. Occupants of both vehicles were sent to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
