A water quality advisory that had been issued on Aug. 8 for Kinosoo Beach on Cold Lake has been lifted as of Aug. 27.

The Aug. 13 regular council meeting for the City of Cold Lake council became a platform for local food truck owners to express their concerns about the municipality’s recent decision to restrict vendor operations along First Avenue.  

At a Aug. 13 City of Cold Lake council meeting, council members reviewed and approved two funding requests, supporting both a local professional association and a neighboring community's fire department.
