On June 21, Art Smith Aviation Academy in Cold Lake celebrated National Indigenous Peoples Day with students from kindergarten to Grade 9 participating in various cultural activities.

Cold Lake First Nations hosted a lively celebration for Indigenous Peoples Day on June 21.

The Cold Lake Public Library held a Books and Bannock event on June 21 in the library reading garden in honour of National Indigenous Peoples Day.

COLD LAKE - The Positive Ticket Program is back for its fifth season. The program is a collaboration between 4 Wing Cold Lake Military Police, Cold Lake RCMP, City of Cold Lake Municipal Enforcement Officers, and Cold Lake Victim Services.  

City of Cold Lake council discussed several funding requests during the June 11 regular council meeting, focusing on many events happening in the community.

The night was Sirant's final concert with the high school band and Beyries' last concert with the 4 Wing Band.

The second annual Rainbow Run is scheduled to take place on June 23 at the Lions Park, Cold Lake South at Centre Avenue and 60th Street. 

At the June 11 regular council meeting, Ashley Shibata voiced her concerns regarding an alleged recent assault on her son at a teen event held at the Cold Lake Energy Centre, renewing calls for increased security at the City-run facility. 

Cold Lake witnessed a long-awaited revival of chuckwagon racing as the Cold Lake Agricultural Society hosted the first races since 2011.  

The Meals on Wheels (MoW) program, managed by Cold Lake and District FCSS, offers a vital service to the community, providing nutritious meals to those in need, thanks in large part to the help of volunteer drivers.
