LAC LA BICHE - Lac La Biche RCMP are asking for the public's help with a continuing break-and-enter investigation from last November.

The incident took place overnight on Nov. 10 at a municipally-owned property on 99 Avenue just east of the Fortis office.

The property was being used by the company currently installing the fibre-optic lines in the community. Property owners in the same area have reported similar incidents over the last several months.

Police say the November incident saw suspects gain access into a fenced yard and then break into a building and on-site trailer. RCMP say a pair of ice cleats were reported stolen, and a significant damage was caused to the property. The time of the occurence was placed between 8 pm on November 10 and 6:30 the following morning.

Lac La Biche RCMP are asking the public's assistance for any information in relation to this incident (or identifying those responsible). Please contact Lac La Biche RCMP at 780-404-2500 or your local police. If you wish to remain anonymous, you can contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
