LAC LA BICHE/PLAMONDON - Lac La Biche County crews are hoping residents in the hamlets of Lac La Biche and Plamondon will obey snow-route no-parking signs so the planned snow clearing event won't slide into trouble.
The first urban snow clearing campaign began on Wednesday on the south side of the Lac La Biche hamlet with crews starting the snow-go shift at 6 am. Signs had been posted the day before, cautioning residents to move vehicles from the streets where crews would be working. Main arteries and neighbourhood streets were cleared.
On Thursday morning, again starting at six, snow removal crews will begin on the north side of the Lac La Biche hamlet. Officials are again asking residents to abide by the short-term parking restrictions so the process can go smoothly.
The urban streets of Plamondon will be cleared on Friday, with the same cautions and time-frames playing out.
