LAC LA BICHE – A tied scoreboard was the result of a May 14 game between the St. Paul Storm and Lac La Biche Dodgers U15 girls’ softball teams.
The Storm and Dodgers finished the six-inning game, which took place at the Bold Centre ball diamond and was the first one of the season for Lac La Biche, with a score of 25-25.
The home team started out the game at bat and gained a small lead over the visiting Storm. Throughout the next five innings, both Lakeland Minor Ball squads would at times gain the upper hand over each other, although the score remained close.
In the final portion of the contest, the Dodgers managed to gain a few extra points on the scoreboard, however, it wasn’t enough to secure a win, and the game concluded in a tie.
The Lac La Biche U15 Dodgers girls’ softball squad will be in Goodfish Lake on May 20 to take on the Goodfish Lake U15 team. The Dodgers are on the road again on May 21 for a meeting with the Bonnyville Angels.
The St. Paul Storm U15 girls’ softball team is scheduled to host Goodfish Lake on May 21.
