Almost two weeks since Queen Elizabeth II passed away in her Balmoral castle located in Scotland, millions around the world including in Lac La Biche payed their respects on Sept. 19 , as she was laid to rest.

The 42nd annual Terry Fox Run dedicated to the man who was on a mission to support cancer research has wrapped up once again in Lac La Biche County. Almost 50 participants on Sept. 18. and thousands of dollars have been raised to support the national fundraiser.
