For the past four years, Lac La Biche County FCSS has hosted the Holding Space Book Club for parents, to give them a chance to get together in a relaxing environment, share supper, conversation and life experiences.

The show took place on March 20 at the Sir Winston Churchill Provincial Park community hall.

Buffalo Lake is the only Métis settlement in Alberta without a school in the community.

The project will involve members of the research team collecting fungi from a forested area near Fox Creek and studying them for their wood-composting capabilities to potentially minimize the hazards of forest fires.
