The Voyageurs dropped a 5-2 decision to the Augustana Vikings at the Bold Centre on Feb. 14 and beat their Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC0 North Division Rivals the following day during an away match in Camrose. The Voyageurs, who hold last spot in their seven-team ACAC North Division, will be playing their final games of the 2024-25 season on Feb. 21 and 22.

The holy month of Islam, which is expected to start on the evening of Feb. 28 this year and end in late March, is characterized by fasting, prayer, and alms-giving.

The game took place at the Bold Centre in Lac La Biche on Feb. 9.

Evan Bonner, a Grade 12 student at École Plamondon School, is earning experience by helping Grade 4 students with their schoolwork and serving as a mentor.

Volunteers have been on Lac La Biche lake marking areas for tracks, skating rinks, roads, and gathering places, clearing snow from the lake in preparation for the upcoming Ice Festival.
