BONNYVILLE - Over the weekend, the Aurora Visual Art Association hosted their second annual ArtVenture workshops.
The event gave more than 50 participants of all ages the opportunity to try their hand at a variety of different mediums at the Bonnyville and District Centennial Centre.
The cost of the workshops ranged from $10 for the Children's Art Activity workshop to $50 for workshops such as Painting in the Negative in Watercolour.
All materials were provided for each workshop including the Build your own Pottery Mug workshop.
Over the last 10 years, the association has been promoting visual arts in the Lakeland and has plans in the works to host many more learning opportunities and workshop events this summer.
