ELK POINT - RCMP Sgt. David Henry says Friday’s Parade of Hope is all set to go through the streets of Elk Point, with the lineup to date including everything from a mounted RCMP rider to Haying in the 30s, St. Paul Museum and antique tractors, as well as local businesses.

Sgt. Henry hopes participants will start lining up by 1:30 p.m., ready to step off down the parade route at 2 p.m.

Following the parade, there will be a display of police and fire department vehicles at the fire hall, and later Friday evening, the Elk Point Volunteer Firefighters and the County of St. Paul and Elk Point FCSS will host the final drive-in movie of the shortened 2020 summer series, The Lion King’, at the fire hall
