Man airlifted to hospital, RCMP investigation underway

RCMP asking anyone with information to come forward

ST. VINCENT - An unidentified male was airlifted to an Edmonton hospital late Friday afternoon following an alleged assault in St. Vincent.

St. Paul RCMP are reporting they responded to a complaint at approximately 4 p.m. of a male in distress on Highway 881 and Township Road 600 in St. Vincent.

"The male was injured and was airlifted by STARS to an Edmonton Hospital with non life threatening injuries. He was reportedly involved in an altercation involving occupant(s) of a burgundy 2004 Ford F150," according to an RCMP release issued Sunday afternoon.

No other details have been released by RCMP at this time.
