FISHING LAKE - An individual was charged with flight from a peace officer, operating a conveyance while prohibited, and dangerous operation of a conveyance on June 21 in Fishing Lake.
According to police, the individual was allegedly travelling at a high rate of speed, and tried to evade police after a traffic stop attempt.
"[The] Elk Point [RCMP] Detachment, with the assistance of neighbouring detachment members and Police Dog Section, were able to disable the vehicle and arrest the occupants without incident," reads a June 23 RCMP press release.
The 23-year-old man of Fishing Lake, was released on a $100 bail and is scheduled to appear at the Alberta Court of Justice in St. Paul on July 3.
