Update: Highway 881 has reopened early this evening to single-lane traffic. (7:15 p.m.)
LAC LA BICHE - On Tuesday afternoon, two separate serious motor vehicle collisions were reported one on Highway 881 at km 119, and another along Lakeland Drive and Big Bay Corner. Peace officers are on the scene and are asking the public to avoid the areas, said Chris Clark, Lac La Biche County's manager of enforcement services.
Please use alternative routes and practice caution as law enforcement and crews respond to the collisions.
