LAKELAND - Many school buses across the Lakeland will not be running Monday morning due to extreme cold.
All Northern Lights Public Schools (NLPS) buses have been cancelled for Jan. 15, reads a statement from the school division that operates schools in the Lac La Biche, Bonnyville and Cold Lake areas.
"Schools are open and regular classes will proceed. Programming may be modified if large numbers of students are absent," adds the statement from NLPS.
Parents are still asked to report their child's absence when buses are not running, as a safety precaution.
