Numerous properties vandalized in Bonnyville

Bonnyville RCMP continue to investigate a string of property damage that saw at least four businesses and three vehicles vandalized on June 4.

Bonnyville RCMP confirm that at least three vehicles were targeted during a string of property damage offences that were committed in the early morning of June 4. A vehicle left in the parking lot of Bonnyville Centralized High School was spray painted with obscenities and had multiple tires punctured.

BONNYVILLE – An investigation remains ongoing in relation to a series of property damage that RCMP believe to have occurred in the early morning of June 4 in the Town of Bonnyville. 

At least four businesses as well as three vehicles were affected, according to lead investigator RCMP Cst. Lydia Shayler. 

On June 5, images and video of the vandalism began to surface on social media showing the extent of the damage with at least one vehicle being spray painted with obscenities and its tires punctured while in a parking lot of a Bonnyville high school. 

While the investigation remains ongoing, the Bonnyville RCMP will not be releasing any further information into the incident.
