BONNYVILLE – A 33-year-old Bonnyville man was shot and seriously injured while intervening in an alleged carjacking early in the morning of Easter Sunday.
Now investigators with the Bonnyville RCMP are asking all residents in the Town of Bonnyville to submit any video footage they may have from a 12-hour window, between April 16 at 8:30 p.m. to April 17 at 8:30 a.m.

The incident occurred on April 17 around 2:30 a.m. in the area of 45 Ave. and 42 St.
The footage will be used to piece together the lead up and aftermath of the violent armed robbery attempt that resulted in the aggravated assault with a firearm.
A total of four suspects are believed to be involved with the incident. The suspect vehicle is also described as a hatchback car.
Video footage police hope residents will provided include, but are not limited to, video cameras, dash cams or doorbell cameras.
