ST. PAUL - Cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed at Glen Avon School and St. Paul Regional High School. Both schools are located in St. Paul.

"Our school division has been notified by an individual that a student at Glen Avon School has tested positive for COVID-19," reads a letter dated Jan. 18, from St. Paul Education. A similar letter was issued around the same time on Monday evening for St. Paul Regional High School.

Out of caution, those who were in close contact with the individuals have already been notified. If a parent or guardian did not hear from the school, then their child was not a close contact and isolation is not required, according to the school division.

St. Paul Education continues to follow all necessary safety protocols and procedures, according to the letters, which are both signed by Superintendent Glen Brodziak.

Parents or guardians with questions are encouraged to contact the school division at 780-645-3323.
