In front of a sold-out crowd, a variety of cultural performances took place at the Cold Lake Agriplex to celebrate Diwali and multiculturalism in the Lakeland on Nov. 19.

Holiday cheer rippled down main street Saturday evening as carefully decorated floats in the annual Santa Claus parade made their through the Town of Bonnyville.

Junior high volleyball teams from across the Lakeland travelled to Bonnyville on Saturday to take part in the Lakeland Schools Athletic Association's (LSAA) District Championship games. 

The Nutcracker, presented by St. Paul and District Arts Foundation, is back this year with its first live performance since the pandemic. Set to be performed on Dec. 3 and 4 in St. Paul at the All Saints Ukrainian Orthodox Cultural Centre.

The hockey season is underway and St. Paul teams have been busy hosting tournaments at the Clancy Richard Arena and CAP Arena.

Members of the Bonnyville RCMP General Investigation Section arrested three men after executing a search warrant at a Bonnyville residence on Nov. 24. Police allegedly uncovered methamphetamine and supplies to cook and sell the illicit drug.
