Lac La Biche Summer Days featured something for everyone, including a slo-pitch tournament that took place throughout the weekend at the Bold Center.

The Lac La Biche Summer Days parade was well attended by both spectators and parade floats.

Over the course of the three day event, there was traditional dancing, as well as competitions for Fancy, Jingle, Chicken and Grass dancers.

The Demolition Derby and Mud Bog festivities will once again take over the Glendon area with a full day of activities and unbelievable spectacles on Aug. 12. All that is left to decide now is – who are you going to invite?

North America observed National Mutt Day on July 31, celebrating mixed breed dogs, and to bring attention to mutts in need of a home. In the Lakeland, many mutts continue to seek their forever family.
