A Sunrise Ceremony is scheduled to take place in St. Paul on Sept. 30 on National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. Portage College is hosting the event, along with other events in the region. The college is also launching its Indigenous Ways of Knowing website.

The Lakeland Family Resource Network (LFRN), in partnership with Jan Tailfeathers, is bringing Traditional Teachings to the community, with the program set to start this week and to occur on a monthly basis.

A drive through process is scheduled for Thursday evening in Bonnyville, while a full day of events is set for Sept. 30 in acknowledgement of National Day for Truth and Reconciliation & Orange Shirt Day.
