Over two dozen teenagers from Family and Community Support Services' (FCSS) Teen Social Club participated in an Amazing Race style game in Plamondon on July 14.

Thanks to some recent grant funding approvals, the Lac La Biche Mission Historical Society has orchestrated some new upgrades to the historic site. The funding will help upgrade the gift shop area along with other general facility fixups.

On Tuesday, firefighters from Station 5 Bonnyville responded to a fire that was caused by a tree that had fallen on to a powerline at an Imperial Oil Resources site, near the Mahikan plant.

With crossover weather conditions moving into the Lakeland region, the Lac La Biche Forest Area and the Bonnyville Regional Fire Authority have implemented a Fire Advisory effecting much of the MD of Bonnyville, in an effort to reduce human-caused fires and encourage fire safety.

St. Paul's 15U A Tier 3 and 11U A Tier 1 baseball teams both made it to the finals over the weekend. The championship tournaments, which also included the 13U A Tier 1 division, were hosted in St. Paul.

St. Paul hosted U13, U15 and U17 D Girls softball provincials July 8-10.
