Schools expecting to go back to scratch with student illness reports and monitoring this fall.

Working with municipalities and other post-secondary institutions, Portage College hopes to bring a degree nursing program to the Lakeland, as well as grow a handful of diploma programs into four-year degrees.

Brightening up the sky

Many of the 11 Glendon graduates who walked the stage together on June 25, had also begun their academic journey's together early in elementary. The commencement ceremony and celebration was an accumulation of all their hard work.

It's been a few weeks since the 2022 Lieutenant Governor of Alberta Art Awards took over Lac La Biche County in-conjunction with a week long art’s celebration, but the events have built many partnerships that will last say organizers.

Although the ceremony signalled the end of high school and the parting of ways, there was nothing but excitement for the multitude of journeys ahead.
