New launch site needs slight budget bump

Bonnyville residents Sam Nunweiler and Jasmine Williams are facing numerous charges after the pair was allegedly caught selling items online that had been previously reported stolen during a residential break and enter.

A Bonnyville veterinary clinic confirms reports of two canine deaths that allegedly occurred after the pets swam in Moose Lake. Both deaths are suspected to have been caused by consuming lake water containing cyanobacteria, commonly known as blue-green algae.

Bonnyville RCMP are considering whether or not charges should be laid against a driver whose broken boat trailer is suspected of sparking several small grass fires along Highway 660.

Members of the public are being asked to keep a look out for a blue and white 2007 dirt bike that was stolen from a Bonnyville business on July 6.

Staffing shortages anticipated over the summer led to announcements of temporary reductions to services at the Bonnyville Health Centre that include a full pause to obstetric care and disruptions to surgeries from July 25 to Sept. 6.
