Ouellette pled guilty to causing the death of 49-year-old Dave Fragoso and 52-year-old Charlotte Patterson, while driving with a blood alcohol level over .08. She also pled guilty to causing bodily harm to a then 12-year-old girl, while under the influence.

Impaired driving causing bodily harm could warrant a prison term of 10 years or less, while impaired driving causing death can be liable to life in prison.

Jeff Rudiak, the chief crown prosecutor for St. Paul, says the Crown Prosecutor's Office will aim for a three- to four-year sentence, while Ouellette's legal representation will look for a two-year sentence.

She will receive her sentencing on Sept.14 at the St. Paul Courthouse.

Rudiak says Ouellette will be “under conditions&” for the next few months, leading up to her Sept. 14 court appearance.

“The conditions are for her to follow a curfew, to not be behind the wheel of a motor vehicle, and to abstain from the consumption of drugs and alcohol,&” said Rudiak.
