ST. PAUL - Cold weather continues to blanket much of the province, and school buses in the St. Paul Education region will once again be cancelled on Monday morning.

The forecast for St. Paul overnight Sunday and into Monday morning (Jan. 15) is calling for temperatures that will feel like -47°C.

The school division's policy states that buses do not run if the temperature outside is -40°C of colder or if the wind chill factor is greater than -40°C, as per the forecast on the Weather Network.

St. Paul Education says it will reassess the situation later to determine if buses will run Monday afternoon.

"Schools will remain open. If your child is not attending classes tomorrow, please report their absence in the regular manner," according to information from St. Paul Education.
