In a special meeting held on the morning of March 29, the majority of Town of St. Paul council voted to terminate its CAO, Harvey Filger, from his position. The CAO had been hired in the fall of 2015.

“It was a decision of council, that’s all I can say right now,&” said Town of St. Paul Mayor Glenn Andersen, after Tuesday night’s regular council meeting. The mayor declined further comment, for the time being.

Andersen was one of two council members to vote against Filger's termination, with Coun. Judy Bogdan also siding with the mayor.

Holly Habiak was appointed as the town's interim CAO.
