The County of St. Paul and Lakeland Cross Country Ski Club (LCCSC) will continue to develop Westcove Municipal Recreation Area (WMRA) as an “Alberta Nordic ski tourist destination,” along with being a Nordic ski centre for the “use and enjoyment of residents” of the County and the Town of St. Paul.

A group of Francophone nursing and healthcare aide students made the trip to St. Paul and Elk Point to experience life in a rural community, as local politicians aim to attract healthcare workers to the region.

The STEP region represents communities from the County of St. Paul, Town of St. Paul, Town of Elk Point, and the Summer Village of Horseshoe Bay.
