On Oct. 8, County of St. Paul council spoke with Bonnyville-Cold Lake-St. Paul MLA Scott Cyr on a variety of issues including highway upgrades, stocking lakes, and rural crime. 

Technological upgrades implemented to some classrooms at St. Paul Regional High School and Racette Jr. High School appear to have been an overall positive change.

RCMP have responded to seven break and enters over the past week, and also received 34 mischief calls.

Charges have been laid following a report of an assault on the afternoon of Oct. 19 that included a man being bear sprayed.
