The land on which the historic Hansen’s Hotel came to a dramatic end in a fire on May 1, 2010, is now for sale. Lynette Hansen, owner of the former hotel, said she will not rebuild or purchase another business in St.

Local musician Calvin Vollrath was recognized as one of the greatest fiddlers in North America on July 31 when he was inducted into the North American Fiddlers' Hall of Fame in Osceola, New York.

A former St. Paul resident was back in town last week to promote her first CD. Michelle Joly released an independent CD called “You’re not alone” and performed songs at Café Orleans for family and friends on Wednesday.

Only one Progressive Conservative candidate for party leader would repeal the Land Stewardship Act, former Bill 36, which created the Land Use Framework. That candidate is Rick Orman.

A local doctor has found himself and his business left out of a deal that will buy out the Associated Medical Centre when doctors move their practices to the Wellness Centre.
