Every second day a vehicle is stolen within the Bonnyville area, says Bonnyville RCMP Staff Sergeant. Many of these vehicle thefts are crimes of opportunity and are preventable.

Dirt biker struck at night airlifted to hospital, faces charges
A driver of a dirt bike sustained serious injuries and was air lifted to an Edmonton area hospital after being struck by a truck in the Town of Bonnyville on May 9. The driver of the dirt bike is facing a charge under the Off Highway Vehicle Act.

Ashlin gymnasts pick up medals at Xcel Provincials
During Xcel Provincial Championships held in Lethbridge, Ashlin athletes took home a total of 16 first place medals, seven silver medals, and nine bronze medals. Another four special awards were also received by Bonnyville gymnasts.
