The Bonnyville RCMP are reminding the public to be mindful of comments made online, after the detachment initiated an uttering threats investigation based on social media comments.

Hoping to see a modest profit of $2.29 in 2022, the municipal library continues to provide online and in-person services to thousands of community members.

RCMP responded to several thefts, as well as break and enters that took place from Oct. 22 to 29.

Active case rates across the Lakeland region have continued on a slight downward trend.

Taking a stand against the provincial health guidelines imposed on the food and beverage industry, the Bonnyville eatery had its food-handling permit suspended after receiving two non-compliance notices.

The Bonnyville RCMP and its partnering organizations responded with 153 calls in the last week. Of the calls, theft and assault were among the most serious.

This fall, RCMP will be conducting enhanced enforcement at the intersections of Highway 28 and Ardmore, and at Highway 28 and Fort Kent.
